Astronaut Rammus

Been maining Rammus for three seasons now with around 500k mastery points, and when Astronaut Rammus dropped I grabbed it immediately. After 90+ games with this skin, I can honestly say it's become my go-to over Full Metal and King Rammus, which says something considering how clean those skins are.

The Q powerball feels way more responsive compared to other Rammus skins, probably because of the jet propulsion effects that make it easier to track your movement speed buildup. Your W defensive curl has this satisfying shield bubble that actually helps you time when to cancel it for maximum damage return. But the real game changer is the ult animation being clearer with those moon crater impacts. I remember this one dragon fight where the enemy Vayne tried to condemn me mid-Q, but the visual clarity let me perfectly time my ult to catch her and their support right as they thought they were safe. That's the kind of diff this skin makes when you're trying to pop off in teamfights.

Compared to something like Molten Rammus where everything blends into red chaos, Astronaut gives you better visibility without being pay-to-win levels of advantage. The 1350 RP price point feels worth it if you're serious about playing the armordillo. And the recall animation where you blast off into space never gets old, especially after tilting the enemy ADC for the fifth time.

Is Astronaut Rammus worth it? For anyone who plays him regularly, absolutely. My experience with Astronaut Rammus convinced two of my duo partners to pick it up too. The skin aged incredibly well and still feels premium years after release.
