Armor of the Fifth Age Taric

Picked up Armor of the Fifth Age Taric from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much from this meme skin. After around 55 games with it though, I'm actually impressed by how clean it feels compared to base Taric. The Q heal animation feels more responsive somehow, and the W bastion link is way easier to track in teamfights since it's this bright pink beam instead of the usual blue. His E stun has this sparkly trail that makes it super obvious when you're channeling, which might seem bad but actually helps your teammates understand what you're doing.

The skin really proved itself during a baron fight where we were getting poked out. I could instantly see which ally had my W on them thanks to the pink glow, landed a three man stun that was impossible to miss with those flashy particles, and popped ult right as their Zed went in. The cosmic protector skin I usually run has way cooler effects but this one just reads better in chaotic situations. And yeah, the fabulous pink armor is cringe but good, especially when you're styling on people who underestimate you.

Is Armor of the Fifth Age Taric worth it? For 750 RP it's probably one of the best value Taric skins if you can handle the aesthetic. Compared to other Taric skins like Bloodstone or Emerald, this one has clearer hitboxes and better visual clarity even if it lacks the serious fantasy vibe. It's purely cosmetic but the improved readability makes it feel almost pay to win in messy fights. If you're a support main who doesn't tilt from the pink overload, grab it when it's available.
