Arclight Brand

In the early days of civilization, Vel'Koz chose a man named Kegan Rodhe to take up the mantle of the first Arclight, gifting him with vast divine powers. But millenia have passed since then, and though Rodhe is gone, his body is still animated by the light, filled with nothing but pain and rage.

Brand OTP here with around 600k mastery points, and Arclight Brand has been my go to skin for the past 90 games. This skin completely changes how his abilities feel compared to base Brand or even Zombie Brand that I mained forever. The W explosion feels way more responsive when you're trying to combo off minions in lane, and the E spread animation is actually cleaner for tracking who's getting hit in messy teamfights. But what really sells it is how the golden flames make everything pop off visually without being too extra.

The ult bounces are probably the biggest diff between this and other Brand skins. I was defending dragon pit last week against a fed Yasuo and their jungler, and I could actually track my ult bounces perfectly through the wall because the golden projectile is so distinct. With Zombie Brand the greenish flames sometimes blend into river terrain, but Arclight's bright effects saved my ass there. Got a double kill and we turned the whole game around. The Q skillshot also feels faster even though I know it's just the animation making it seem that way.

Compared to other Brand skins like Battle Boss or Eternal Dragon, Arclight sits in this sweet spot where it's clean enough for tryhard ranked games but still looks insane. Worth the 1350 RP if you're serious about Brand, especially since the recall animation alone tilts enemies when you're ahead. Not quite pay to win but the visual clarity on abilities definitely helps in clustered fights where base Brand particles get lost. My experience with Arclight Brand convinced three of my friends to grab it too, and none of us have looked back since.
