Picked this up from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much from a 750 RP skin. After about 40 games though, Archduke Nasus has become my go-to over Infernal which I'd been using for years. The cane auto attacks feel way smoother than base, especially when you're stacking Q in lane. There's something about the animation that makes last hitting feel more responsive, and I swear I'm hitting around 400 stacks more consistently by 20 minutes.
The Q bonk with that fancy cane is satisfying as hell, but what really sold me was during a baron fight where I could actually see my E circle clearly through all the spell effects. With Infernal, that fire circle gets lost in teamfights, but the refined purple effect on Archduke stands out perfectly. Popped off with a triple kill because I could position my Spirit Fire properly while the enemy ADC thought they were safe. And the ult transformation keeps the gentleman aesthetic while still looking fed enough to make enemies ff when you walk at them.
Is Archduke Nasus worth it compared to other Nasus skins? For the price, absolutely. It's not flashy like Battlecast or Space Groove, but the cleaner animations make CSing less clunky during laning phase. My experience with Archduke Nasus convinced me that sometimes the older, simpler skins just work better. It's purely cosmetic, no pay-to-win advantage, but the visual clarity alone makes it worth for anyone who plays Nasus regularly. Probably the best value skin in his collection if you care more about smooth gameplay than particle effects.
