Arcana Tahm Kench

Got gifted this skin from a friend after hitting Gold for the first time, and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Coin Emperor. After about 50 games though, Arcana Tahm Kench completely changed how I play the catfish.

The Q feels way smoother to land compared to other Tahm Kench skins, especially the tongue animation that makes it easier to track in teamfights. His W devour has this purple glow that actually helps me time when enemies are about to pop out, which saved my ADC countless times. But the real difference is his ult. The portal effect is so clean that I can actually see where I'm aiming during those chaotic dragon fights. Just yesterday I managed to ult behind their jungler at baron pit and completely turned the fight around because the visual clarity let me place it perfectly between their Jinx and the wall. On base skin that probably would've been a complete int.

Compared to Coin Emperor which I mained for 200+ games, Arcana just feels more responsive overall. The auto attack animations flow better for last hitting cannons, and the E shield has this distinct purple aura that makes it obvious when you're about to pop it for the heal. Is Arcana Tahm Kench worth it though? For 1350 RP it's definitely not pay to win, but the cleaner animations genuinely help with timing. My experience with Arcana Tahm Kench convinced me that sometimes the right skin actually makes you play better. If you're a Tahm main or even just play him occasionally in ranked, this one's worth grabbing when it goes on sale.
