After 80 games with Arcana Hecarim, I'm convinced this skin completely changes how the champion feels to play. Most people focus on the visual upgrade but what really sells it is how smooth everything becomes compared to other Hecarim skins.
The Q spam feels incredibly responsive with cleaner animation cancels that actually matter when you're trying to stack Conqueror quickly. His W creates this purple void effect that's way easier to track in teamfights than Elderwood's messy green aura, and the E charge up has this distinct sound cue that helps time your engages better. But it's the ult that really makes the difference. When you pop off with R in a dragon fight, the spectral riders are so clear you can actually see where your fear zone ends, unlike base skin where I'd sometimes whiff the edge cases. Last night I dove their fed ADC under tower and the visual clarity let me position the fear perfectly to knock them into my team while avoiding the support's peel.
Compared to other Hecarim skins like High Noon, Arcana just feels more responsive overall. The auto attack animation is probably the smoothest in his collection, making last hitting and weaving autos between Qs way more consistent. Is Arcana Hecarim worth it though? For 1350 RP it's not exactly budget friendly, but if you're planning to main the pony or already have decent games on him, this skin genuinely improves your gameplay clarity.
This isn't pay to win but it's close enough that I'd recommend it to anyone serious about climbing with Hecarim. The technical improvements alone make it worth considering, especially if you can grab it on sale.
