Annie-Versary

Been spamming Annie-Versary for about 50 games now after grabbing it during the anniversary event, and honestly this skin hits different compared to other Annie skins I've tried. The party theme actually makes her abilities feel more responsive, especially when you're trying to land those clutch stuns in teamfights.

The Q feels snappier with those confetti particles, making it easier to track during hectic trades. Her W cone has this party horn effect that somehow makes the hitbox feel clearer than base Annie or even Goth Annie. But the real game changer is Tibbers' entrance with that party explosion. During a baron fight yesterday, I flashed over the pit wall and dropped Tibbers right on their fed ADC, and the birthday cake effects made it super obvious where the stun radius landed. My team instantly collapsed on them and we turned what looked like a lost fight into an ace. The ult animation just feels less clunky overall, probably because of how the celebration effects mask the usual wind up time.

Compared to Hextech Annie which I mained before, Annie-Versary is way more readable in teamfights. The party sounds are distinct enough that you can track your passive stacks without constantly checking the icon. It's definitely just cosmetic, not pay to win, but those cleaner animations make a difference when you're trying to pop off. And the recall where Tibbers blows out candles never gets old, especially after you tilt the enemy laner for the third time.

Is Annie-Versary worth it? For anyone who plays Annie regularly, absolutely. The exclusive availability makes it special, but even without that factor, my experience with Annie-Versary has been nothing but positive. Just wish I'd gotten it sooner instead of sleeping on it.
