Ambitious Elf Jinx

Picked up Ambitious Elf Jinx from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much from a holiday skin. After about 35 games though, this thing's actually grown on me way more than I thought it would. The candy cane Fishbones and present-wrapped Pow-Pow are ridiculous in the best way possible, and there's something satisfying about the jingle bells on her auto attacks that just makes CSing feel better.

The W chompers turning into little gift boxes is probably my favorite touch, especially when you're kiting back in teamfights and enemies walk right into them thinking they're just visual clutter. Had this insane dragon fight yesterday where their Yasuo completely missed my traps because they blend with the river decorations, walked right into three of them and got deleted. Her ult feels cleaner too, like the rocket animation is more responsive when you need to snipe someone recalling. Compared to other Jinx skins like Star Guardian, this one's way less flashy but somehow the animations feel tighter.

Is Ambitious Elf Jinx worth it if you're thinking about grabbing it? For 1350 RP it's not breaking the bank, and while it's definitely not pay to win, those gift box chompers might tilt some players who aren't used to them. The recall animation where she's wrapping presents is pretty cringe but good, takes forever though so you can't use it for those cheeky base timings.

My experience with Ambitious Elf Jinx compared to base skin or even PROJECT is that it's just more fun without sacrificing clarity. If you main Jinx and want something festive that won't int your mechanics, this one's solid. Maybe wait for Your Shop discount but it's worth picking up eventually.
