Admiral Glasc

Picked up Admiral Glasc from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run Fright Night. After about 35 games though, this skin's actually grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The Q feels way smoother than base skin, especially when you're trying to poke through minions in lane. Her E shield has this crisp naval effect that makes it super clear when it's about to expire, which saved my ADC's life during a dragon fight yesterday when I could perfectly time the recast. And the ult? The anchor chains are probably the cleanest animation she has across all skins. Compared to Fright Night's spooky tentacles that sometimes blend into river fights, Admiral's chains stand out even in the messiest teamfights. Had this insane moment where we were getting dove under tower and I could actually track who was chained through all the spell effects because the naval theme pops so well against Summoner's Rift.

Is Admiral Glasc worth it compared to other Renata Glasc skins? For 1350 RP it's not exactly pay to win, but the visual clarity definitely helps. Fright Night has better voice lines and that sick recall, but Admiral wins on competitive readability. The W revive animation is maybe a bit too subtle though, sometimes my team doesn't realize they're zombified until it's too late.

My experience with Admiral Glasc has been surprisingly positive for an unexpected pickup. If you're a Renata main who values clean visuals over flashy effects, grab it next time it's in your shop. Otherwise Fright Night still gives you more personality for the same price point.
