Academy Vladimir

After 55 games with Academy Vladimir, I'm honestly shocked more people don't talk about how clean this skin feels compared to other Vladimir skins. Got it from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much from a 750 RP skin, but it's become my go to over Blood Lord and Dark Waters.

The Q animation feels way smoother than base skin, especially when you're trying to last hit under tower. Your E charge up is super clear with that blue energy effect, making it easier to time your all ins. But the biggest difference is the ult. That Academy emblem that appears is so much clearer than the red mist on his other skins. Last night in a dragon fight, I could actually track who had my ult on them through all the chaos, something I struggle with on Nightbringer. The whole team fight felt more readable and I ended up getting a triple kill because I knew exactly when my ult would pop.

My experience with Academy Vladimir has been surprisingly positive for what's basically a budget skin. The recall animation where he's reading that book is whatever, but in actual gameplay this skin just works. Pool animation is crisp, W feels responsive when you need to dodge that crucial CC. And compared to Marquis Vladimir which I mained forever, Academy just feels less clunky overall.

Is Academy Vladimir worth it? If you're a Vlad main who wants clarity without dropping 1820 on Blood Lord, absolutely grab this. It's probably the best value skin he has. The Academy theme might seem cringe but good luck caring about that when you're popping off in teamfights with actually visible abilities.
